Liquidity Pools
Concentrated Liquidity
All liquidity pools in Verified Pools are enabled by Uniswap v4 and follow a concentrated liquidity automated market maker model (AMM). When liquidity providers supply liquidity to a pool, they can specify the price range in which their capital is active, enabling higher levels of capital efficiency and the potential to earn trading fees. Liquidity providers may also supply liquidity at “full range”, meaning their liquidity is provided evenly across the entire price range spectrum (0 to infinity).

Fee Structure
There are several categories of fees in Verified Pools: Swap Fee, Coinbase Fee, and the Uniswap Protocol Fee.

Swap Fee
The swap fee is a fixed fee that is set when a liquidity pool is created and is paid by swappers when swapping assets. The fee is set as a percentage of the total swap amount (i.e. 0.05%) and 100% of the swap fee is paid directly to in-range liquidity providers at the time a swap occurs. Coinbase does not earn any of this fee.
Coinbase Fee
The Coinbase fee is a transaction fee that, when enabled, is paid by swappers to the platform. This fee is set as a fixed percentage of total swap amount (i.e. 0.01%) and is paid at the time a swap occurs.
The Coinbase Fee is currently set to 0% for all pools.
Uniswap Protocol Fee
The protocol fee is a latent fee that is built into the Uniswap protocol and may be enabled through governance. If enabled (this fee has yet to been enabled in Uniswap's history), this fee would redirect a portion of Swap Fees to the protocol rather than to LPs. Swappers do not pay an additional fee when this is enabled -- it simply splits the Swap Fee across LPs and the protocol itself. Coinbase never sees any of this fee.
Available Pools
Liquidity pools within Verified Pools are curated by Coinbase and there is not currently support for user-created pools.
